Jiyoma is designed around sensitive health experiences. This policy explains the information the platform may collect and the privacy principles that guide community, tracking, and research features.

Information Jiyoma may collect

-Account information such as name, email address, pseudonym, and communication preferences.
-Community activity such as posts, replies, saved resources, group participation, and event interest.
-Health tracking information that members choose to log, including symptoms, cycle details, pain, bleeding, medications, treatments, lifestyle factors, and notes.
-Research participation information when a member explicitly opts in to a study or survey.
-Technical information such as device, browser, usage, and security logs needed to operate and protect the platform.

How information may be used

-To provide community, tracking, education, research, support, and account features.
-To personalize resources, reminders, community content, and feature recommendations.
-To improve safety, moderation, fraud prevention, and platform reliability.
-To support research only when a member has given clear consent for the specific use.
-To communicate about launch updates, account activity, support requests, and policy changes.

Research and data sharing

-Research participation is optional.
-Jiyoma should explain what data is shared, who receives it, why it is requested, and how a member can withdraw before any research participation begins.
-Research data should be de-identified or aggregated before partner use unless a member has provided specific consent for a different approved study workflow.
-Jiyoma is not designed to sell personal health information to advertisers.

Member choices

-Members should be able to update account details, manage communication preferences, and choose what they share in the community.
-Members should be able to request access to their information, download it when supported, or ask for deletion subject to legal, safety, and operational requirements.
-Members can choose whether to participate in research and can withdraw from research participation according to each study consent process.
